Arranging a bowl of flowers in the morning can give a sense of quiet in a crowded day. - Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Early this season

Twisted Oak hosted a lunch for our "support group". These women had offered over the last year their support for our cut flower endeavor in a varied and enthusiastic way. They have been vocal advocates, customers, educational resources and even "psychologists". This was May and we had just recently moved into our new unheated house. This alone was reason to celebrate. But this was a Virginia Spring day for the books. After a lengthy stretch of nothing but clouds and rain the day was crisp and sunny. No blooms were yet in the field but that didn't seem to dampen everyone's spirits. We all new what days such as these would bring.
