Echinacea Arrival

240 Echinacea plants arrived yesterday in fabulous condition from Terra Nova Nurseries. We have 4 varieties so far and hope to double that with Fall planting.
We now have MERLOT, PURITY, RUBY GIANT, AND COCONUT LIME.
They are resting from their cross country trip and will be repotted and relocated this weekend while they await final preparation of the beds.

Irrigation materials, landscape fabric etc. will be ordered this week. $$$$$$

My husband Jay and I laid out the water lines and located the future hoop houses in the field yesterday. We have also concluded that the best location (and also most economical location) for the Flower Cooler would be adjoining the existing mower shed. We will be building the cooler ourselves it seems.

I am speaking to Locke's Store in Millwood VA about being a vendor at their Friday evening market. Hope we can live up to it! I also want to begin a Flower Subscription service. Pricing that is difficult. I think I will need to confer w/ Theodora Rezba @ Echo Ridge Nurseries about that.
